Toddler Knitwear Collection SS'23

For this assignment, I developed a gender-neutral toddler collection, consisting of a focused color story, 20 refined designs, 4 final designs, and 1 final 3D render using CLO. After researching for inspiration, the brand, trends, and the target customer, I summarized the research into a  focused collection mood board, to have clearer direction for ideation and final design.

This toddler S/S ’23 capsule is a focus on comfort-driven, elevated knit basics inspired by the rising trends of gender and color neutral staples for kids.  This collection taps into key multi-use and multi-occasion purchase-driving values with the updated basics offering timeless appeal and versatility across seasons, genders and styling. It includes easy-to-wear, roomy silhouettes allow for ease of movement and room to grow. The attention to details upgrade these core items, such as crossover ties and wooden buttons, ensure adjustable sizing and easy changing. Earthy, neutral shades were chosen to bring a gender-inclusive and season-less appeal that easily fit into any existing wardrobe.

This collection of classic silhouettes that prioritizes longevity has a timeless commercial appeal that caters to the conscious consumer and generational shifts in spending reshaping the retail landscape.

A selection of warm, pared-back base colors complete this color palette of Pantone shades Poulet Saute, Mountain Pass, Ristretto, Affogato, Tortilla, and Eggwhite.
